Meet Keala
Keala leads Buddah Mochi with both experience and heart. With 15 years as a teacher, she built her foundation on community and connection. As a single mom who has always worked multiple jobs, she understands resilience, sacrifice, and the value of hard work. Since launching Buddah Mochi in 2023, she has created over 100 successful collaborations, many of which have grown into lasting friendships. Most styles sell out within weeks of launch, and every step of growth has been rooted in her passion for giving back to the community.
But just as important as her authority is her empathy. She knows what it’s like to start from scratch and to feel invisible. That’s why she ensures every purchase has impact, uplifting others both financially and emotionally. To her, impact always matters more than profit. She invests time in each collaborator, going deeper than surface-level partnerships, and she refuses to follow fleeting trends, instead she chooses to create from inspiration and purpose. Through hardships and challenges, her motivation remains the same: to do what feels right and to build something she can look in the mirror and be proud of.
